TMC is a seven-piece live performance band, playing a wide selection of popular songs from the last fifty years or more. With our own comprehensive PA and lighting rigs, we are able to provide a full live music experience in small and medium-sized venues for your party, wedding, function or fund-raising event (special rates on request). We hold public liability insurance and electrical equipment safety certifications.
TMC was formed following a conversation between colleagues at a company barbecue back in the summer of 2009 - the name is in fact short for Teligent Music Club, a token of respect for the company allowing us to practice in the sales office! Following the arrival of our lead vocalist Clare in 2012, our set-list and reputation grew, with bookings for weddings, birthday parties and social clubs being fulfilled.
We pride ourselves on the diversity of our setlist and will always try to tailor our performance to suit each audience. We cover songs spanning the last seven decades, encompassing disco to hard rock and all points in between; from classics to deep-cuts that you'll know but might not have heard in a while. Update: May 2025. After 13 years, Clare has reluctantly decided to stand down as our lead vocalist. The demands of singing for two-hours have become increasingly hard for her recently and although she does get a couple of rests during our typical set, it is clear that she can't deliver the high standard of performance she expects of herself. She leaves us with our immense gratitude and great memories, but for the rest of us the search for a new vocalist begins now - if you are interested, or know of anyone who can get to Kings Hill on a Wednesday evening for practice, please get in touch!
